Vences Electric, Inc. is a Santa Barbara based electrical contractor built around craftsmanship, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
We provide electrical services for custom homes, new construction, remodels, commercial projects, lighting and controls, and electrical infrastructure. But what defines our company goes beyond the type of work we perform. It’s how we approach every project— from planning and coordination to installation, testing, and final completion.
Our goal is simple: built quality electrical systems, develop great electricians, and become the type of electrical contractor our clients and project partners can rely on.
Vences Electric, Inc. was proudly established in Santa Barbara, California, from a passion for craftsmanship, continuous learning, and doing things the right way.
Founder Christian Vences developed his work ethic at an early age while growing up around ranch life, where working with your hands, solving problems, and taking pride in your work were simply part of everyday life. Those experiences shaped the values that would later become the foundation of Vences Electric: hard work, attention to detail, accountability, and respect for the people you work alongside.
Christian found his calling in the electrical trade through its combination of craftsmanship, problem-solving, and constant evolution. He immersed himself in the industry, studying electrical codes, installation methods, and new technologies while continually looking for ways to improve his craft.
After becoming a first-generation college graduate, Christian ultimately returned to what he enjoyed most—building, learning, and working in the electrical industry. That passion eventually led to the creation of Vences Electric, Inc.
Today, those same principles continue to guide our company. We invest in our people, develop field standards and training systems, and continually improve the way we plan, coordinate, and execute our work.
From custom homes and major renovations to commercial projects and electrical upgrades, our goal is bigger than simply completing an installation. We strive to be an electrical contractor that homeowners, builders, and project teams can rely on for quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and professional execution from start to finish.

The Vences Standard represents the expectations we set for ourselves on every project— from the work that will eventually be covered by drywall to the devices, lighting, panels, and equipment that remain visible when the job is complete.
We emphasize proper planning, clean installations, organized wiring, accurate labeling, job site cleanliness, documentation, testing, and attention to the details that are easy to overlook.
We continue developing field procedures and installation standards so our technicians aren’t simply told to “do good work”. They’re given a system for what good work should look like.
